MyCompass, CompassCare, and CompassCare Command Center each serve a different role, so each has its own release notes. The newest updates appear first.
MyCompass Version 1.0.10
Dress for the weather with our new widget, plus reminders that arrive on the right day and a smoother, more reliable app.
Version 1.0.10 brings a new weather widget, more dependable reminders, and better Apple Watch support.
Weather widget
Add the MyCompass weather widget to your Home Screen and tap “What should you wear?” for clothing suggestions based on the current temperature and how it feels outside.
Apple Watch location
Caregivers now see an up-to-date Device Location for people who use an Apple Watch without a paired iPhone.
Data sharing banner
The “Turn on data sharing” banner can now be dismissed when it doesn’t apply to you, and it only comes back if something needs your attention.
Sign-in reliability
The app now reliably keeps you signed in after your device is locked or restarted.
- Fixed an issue where the app could freeze on launch.
- The Home button now always takes you to today, even when nothing is scheduled today.
- Fixed an issue where the activities list could keep loading after signing in for the first time.
- Weekly activity reminders now arrive only on the scheduled day. Existing reminders update automatically, so there’s no need to edit your activities.
- Deleting an activity, including today’s activity before it starts, now stops its reminders on the phone.
CompassCare Mapping & Elopement Improvements
Updates to CompassCare make location information easier to see and easier to understand for the families and caregivers who support someone.
Better mapping. Better awareness.
The CompassCare map now gives caregivers a clearer, more useful view of location information. It’s quicker to understand where the person you support is, and location details are easier to interpret in a more intuitive experience.
A clearer elopement experience
Elopement-related information is now presented more clearly, so important location events are easier to recognize and it’s easier to understand what needs attention. The experience is calmer and clearer when location awareness matters most.
Technology can’t prevent elopement on its own. CompassCare is designed to give caregivers better awareness and clearer information when location-related events occur.
