Questions people and families ask

Do I need a referral to contact you?

No. You can reach out on your own or with someone you trust. If you have a case manager or support coordinator, it can help to bring them in later, mainly when funding is involved.

What should I put in my first message?

Just the basics: what you want to do, the state you live in, and the best way to reach you. Leave out medical details for now. We will ask what we need when we talk.

Is GMA only for people of a certain age or disability?

No. We work with older adults, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, people with brain injuries, and people with other access or support needs. Your goal matters more to us than a label.

What if my needs change later?

That is expected. Follow-up and ongoing support are part of how we work. Plans can change as your goals change.

Do you work in my state?

Yes, GMA works nationwide. Waiver programs depend on where you live, formal OT evaluations are currently available in Missouri, and our clinicians are happy to collaborate with your care team anywhere. The coverage map on our About page has current details.

Tell us what you want to do

Share a goal, a routine you want to make easier, or a question on your mind. We will follow up to talk it through.
